Oyeleke went off late on against Yeovil Town 10 days ago and was not ready to return against Torquay United on Saturday.

"He is training today,” Rowe told BBC Radio Sheffield at Monday’s pre-match press conference. “He is still 50-50 because he has still got to get through certain things today for him to be available tomorrow. We will wait until the last minute on that one and then make a decision tomorrow evening.”

The midfielder has had his injury problems in the past at Port Vale and Rowe is keen for him to put a run of games together.

"At the moment he is playing a couple of games and then he is having a game off,” the manager explained. “We need to get him into rhythm because I think there is even more to come from him. We are looking to get him a run of games. He knows that himself, he is more frustrated than anyone because there is no doubt the impact he can have on our season and he is here for a reason.”

Maguire returned against Torquay after missing the two previous matches but it might be a stretch for him to play again so soon.

Rowe said: "Laurence got through the 90 but two games in three days might be too much for him but again we will assess him today and I will talk to him and see how he feels. I thought his performance was very strong considering he has had some time off.”

Tuesday’s opponents Woking have only played five matches so far due to Covid.

They have recorded two wins and three defeats, including throwing away a two-goal lead against Eastleigh on Saturday to lose 3-2.

"We need to start with an energy and an enthusiasm and we need to put right what went wrong the other evening,” Rowe added.

"Their expectations are higher this year because they have turned full-time.

"The defeats they had at the back end of last year was due to them playing young players really and their main players went on furlough.

"The position last year is false to what they have got in the squad.”
