Chesterfield FC have signed former Gretna, Oldham Athletic and Galway United keeper Greg Fleming on a one-year deal.
The move to the B2net Stadium will reunite the Scottish U21 International with Mark Crossley, as the pair shared the goalkeeping duties previously at Boundary Park.
Fleming, 24, also had a loan spell with Dunfermline Athletic.
He featured in the Spireites midweek pre-season game against non-league Dunkirk in Nottingham.
Goalkeeping coach Crossley praised the new addition.
He said: “I’ve worked with Greg before and know what he’s capable of. His all-round game is very similar to Tommy Lee’s and we expect the two to be battling it out for the number one spot at the start of the season.”
