There are currently vacancies for matchday stewards at Chesterfield FC’s Proact Stadium.
Stewards ensure the safety of spectators before, during and after matches. Those who are recruited will be provided with relevant training and workwear, with payment made on a match-by-match basis.
Stadium manager Colin Nellist explained: “The training will lead to an NVQ Level 2 qualification in spectator safety. We’re also interested in speaking to people who already hold an SIA badge because there are, from time to time, opportunities to work at events during the week.”
Anyone interested in applying to become a matchday steward should either email firstname.lastname@example.org or call in at the Proact and leave their contact details.
Successful applicants will be contacted when there are sufficient numbers to hold a formal induction training session.
