Jamie O’Hara, who had a three-month loan spell with Chesterfield FC, has moved clubs for a £5m transfer fee.
The midfielder, who joined the Spireites from Tottenham Hotspur in January, 2006, has switched from White Hart Lane to Wolverhampton Wanderers on a five-year contract.
O’Hara, 24, made his Blues debut at Doncaster Rovers in a 1-1 draw and went on to make a total of 19 League One appearances for Chesterfield.
Supporters took instantly to the all-action player and his reputation was further enhanced as he scored five goals for the team, then managed by Roy McFarland.
O’Hara returned to north London after the season finished and had a loan spell at Millwall before he spent a season on loan with Portsmouth in the 2009/10 campaign.
From January to May this year, O’Hara was on loan with Wolves and played a major role as the Molineux club retained its Premier League status.
