Our official match photographer James Williamson has had many highs and lows covering Chesterfield FC across the country.

And, in the first of a series of memorable pictures, James has selected his favourite images of his time covering Spireites.

His first pick takes us back to last season when promotion-chasing Chesterfield recovered from 2-0 down to beat Yeovil Town 3-2

Chesterfield’s brilliant comeback made it three league wins in a row for the first time in the season season and gave them a four-point buffer in the last of the top six places.

James selected the image of Jay O’Shea giving chesterfield the lead with this acrobatic strike.

James said: “I like it because as a photographer you’re there to capture the big moments and, in this game, Chesterfield had gone 2-0 down against a relegation-threatened Yeovil.

“In about 15 second half minutes they had turned the game around and were leading 3-2. This was ultimately the winning goal from the game and a great image to capture.”
