Chesterfield once again fell to defeat by a single goal on Tuesday night, going down 2-1 at high flying Exeter.

An Andy Kellett goal was all the Spireites had to show for their efforts, although Exeter did come a lick of paint away from conceding an own goal and George Smith wasted a glorious chance for Town.

The result leaves Jack Lester’s Chesterfield seven points from safety with four games remaining in the season.
