Chesterfield fans are set to enjoy extra benefits following further extension of the club’s official loyalty and rewards scheme.
It means that season ticket holders and loyalty card holders, who already collect points on their smartcards, are to be rewarded for their loyalty by being awarded extra loyalty points when making purchases at the club.
In future, accumulated points will not only provide priority for certain games, but can be redeemed for exclusive offers and loyalty points promotions as well.
According to the club, these could be free tickets for other B2net events or VIP hospitality, kit and merchandise offers, match day promotions, or fan experiences that money can’t buy, such as, attending pre-season training, or meeting favourite players.
Fans can also earn extra points for early renewal of their season tickets, with as many as 2,400 loyalty points available for season ticket holders which renew by 18 May, or an additional 1,600 points for renewals by the 15 June.
In future, loyalty points will also be allocated for attendance at home matches, for purchase of additional match tickets for home and away games, and will continue to be allocated for purchases at the B2net Stadium, such as, the concourse refreshment bars, in the club superstore, and in the hospitality areas.
CFC director Ashley Carson, who is charged with enhancing the Spireites loyalty and rewards scheme said: “Our aim is to recognise and reward the loyalty of our fans with an innovative scheme that is both simple to operate, but most importantly, provides real value that is appreciated by our supporters.”
He added: “The smartcards have been quite an innovation at the B2net, providing automated access to the stadium and helping to speed up transaction times for purchases. From next season dedicated e-cash tills will provide even faster service in the concourses and hospitality areas for season ticket and loyalty card holders.”
“There will also be special offers exclusively for e-cash users for selected home matches next season and to make it even easier to top-up, the online portal will also then be in operation.”
Following feedback from fans it has been decided that existing loyalty cards will continue to be valid for next season and any credit can be carried forward. New loyalty cards can be purchased at a cost of £10 and, as a thank you, the club will credit an extra £5 of e-cash to match the first top-up of £5.
New season ticket holders will be credited with an extra £10 of e-cash when they top-up with £10 for the first time. Deadline for the extra e-cash credit is Friday 30 November 2012.
