Chesterfield fans began the night with hope and a smile but ended it in frustration as their side drew yet again - the ninth in a row - held 1-1 at home by Bromley last night.

That left the Spireites 12 matches unbeaten but without a win in 19 games and had some fans calling for boss Martin Allen to go by the end.
