Fans asked to help avoid congestion

Chesterfield FC supporters have been advised to buy their tickets well in advance of the Spireites opening game of the League One season on Saturday in order to avoid congestion at the B2net Stadium.

League Two champions Chesterfield entertain Stevenage, who gained promotion with the Spireites last season, on Saturday at 3pm.

Tickets, or uploads to the new Loyalty SmartCards, can be purchased in person or over the telephone on the ticket line (01246) 488232.

As usual there is late night opening of the ticket office and club superstore on the Friday night preceding a Saturday match until 7pm.

Blues bosses are also keen that those who travel by car ensure that the football club’s neighbours around the B2net are not inconvenienced and that everyone parks thoughtfully.

There are still 80 spaces remaining to be sold at £140 for the season at the Fitness First gym, opposite the stadium.
