Spireites travel to MK Dons this evening to replay the FA Cup second-round tie they’ve already won once.
Armand Gnanduillet’s goal at stadium:mk settled the original match last month but a paperwork error regarding then-on-loan Georg Margreitter led to the FA ordering a replay.
The tie will be played to a conclusion tonight with extra time and penalties if required.
MK boss Karl Robinson has said he’s more concerned about next weekend’s League One game against Crawley Town and has indicated that he’s likely to make at least five changes to the side that lost to Walsall last weekend.
Former Spireite Mark Randall looks set to play in place of Dele Alli.
Spireites boss Paul Cook will be waiting to see if key midfielder Jimmy Ryan has shaken off the knock that kept him out of the last two games. “I’ll not risk him if he’s not fully fit,” he said. “But Sam Morsy will return after his suspension.”
Chief executive Chris Turner confirmed a new deal as been offered to Ryan, whose contract expires in the summer.
