Chesterfield FC are looking to build on the goodwill that is currently flowing around the town following the Elton John Concert at the B2net Stadium last weekend.
The Spireites have been inundated with feedback from happy concert-goers ecstatic not only about the fabulous performance of Elton John and his b and, but the venue, the atmosphere, the catering, the parking and the facilities, in fact everything about what turned out to be a night to remember at north Derbyshire’s premier entertainment venue.
And now the football club is looking to keep the geniality going with another promotion season for Chesterfield FC and a call is being made to fans to back the Spireites.
Supoporters are reminded that the deadline for discounted season tickets ends at 5pm on Friday.
Blues chief executive Chris Turner said: “A record 15,000 crowd was packed into the stadium for the Elton John concert and the feedback tells us they had such a good time that we want to keep the positive vibes going into the new football season.
“We know how good the matchday experience can be at our home matches and last weekend’s concert was a good reminder of the excellent atmosphere that the fans can enjoy at the B2net.
“John Sheridan is putting together an exciting team to compete for promotion and this week is the last chance for fans to grab a bargain as season ticket discounts must end on Friday.”
Earlier this year the Chesterfield FC board decided that there would be no price increases, so supporters are able to gain admission and enjoy all the matchday facilities at the B2net Stadium for season 2012-13 at the same price as last season.
As an additional incentive, extra loyalty points under the Spireites relaunched Loyalty and Rewards Scheme, are being awarded for fans who purchase or renew season tickets for season 2012-13.
Season tickets can be purchased online, by telephone 01246 488232, or in person at the Spireites ticket office.
