Chesterfield FC have unveiled their new third strip to avoid colour clashes with other teams which play in blue and white during the 2011-12 season.
The new green and navy kit is being launched ahead of the Spireites visit to Hillsborough to play Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, October 8, but it can also be used when necessary for other away matches as well, such as Huddersfield Town and Colchester United.
Respect are the manufacturers of Chesterfield’s new third kit, with VK once again being the shirt sponsors.
Spireites favourite Derek Niven is pictured above wearing the new shirt.
A limited number of replica shirts are going on sale in the Spireites club superstore, in adult sizes only, from tomorrow and will be available on a first come first served basis priced at £40.
