Below freezing this morning when I got up - first proper sign of winter being upon us!
Gym session went well. I’m still struggling with my knee so I’ve kept off it today and done some different arm exercises. I did supersets today. A superset is when two exercises are performed back to back without a rest.
Firstly, I concentrated on my chest/shoulders and biceps with a bench press then went into tricep pull downs to work my triceps! I did three sets of ten reps on each exercise. I then moved onto lats pull down and the seated row, again to work my arms, back and shoulders. This is a great way of building muscle, improving endurance and burning fat.
In between sets I work on my core which is coming along very well and getting stronger everyday.
Gym session done and I’m happy with a good mornings work.
Had a quite amazing afternoon, it just shows how so many people want to help and support the right thing to do.
Met with my friend John, who sadly lost his sister through lymphoma, and he’s giving me all sorts of help and support to get my projects up and running. I’m truly grateful.
Then met with Matt from the Derbyshire Times (local newspaper in Chesterfield) and he’s done an interview with me to promote my Arctic Challenge that will be published on Thursday.
Today has been an awesome day!
