Chesterfield confirm further departure from the Proact
The defender signed a two-year deal last summer having left Scunthorpe United, but endured a tough first season as a Spireite.
His performances were of a consistent nature in positions right across the defensive line, but three red cards – one of which was rescinded – were costly for the player and his team.

Hide AdWiseman, who conceded the controversial last gasp penalty at Swindon that robbed Town of all three points, was wrongly sent off in a 2-0 defeat by Notts County, in a 1-0 win over Exeter and on New Year’s Day in the 1-0 loss at Coventry.
That proved to be his final game for Chesterfield before being sent out on loan to Rochdale.
He played 13 games in League One for Dale before the season was out.
Town boss Martin Allen said: “Talks have been ongoing over the past couple of weeks between myself, Carl Muggleton and Adrian Whitbread - who’ve been in most days working - sorting out and trying to help some of the players set to leave.
“Up to this point, Scott Wiseman has been released. I wish Scott the very best for the future.
“We’re very close with three other lads, which will hopefully be done today.”
