Belper United overcome Dronfield Town in Derbyshire Senior Cup
Belper United progressed through to the next round of the Derbyshire Senior Cup on Wednesday night with a 3-0 win over Dronfield Town.
The game at Stonelow was played out on Bonfire Night and there was no short of fireworks after Adam Robley put Belper ahead on four minutes.
That’s the way it stayed until the 53rd minute when Luke Crosby doubled the visitors’ lead. Sam Vickers made sure with a 90th minute strike.
Both sides return to league action on Saturday as Belper host Hucknall Town and Dronfield entertain Worsbrough Bridge Athletic.
