Only two games were played in the League’s top flight with Mill Madrid beating Grassmoor Sports 2-1 in a closely contested game.
In the other game a goal from Killamarsh Juniors Walker was matched by one from Vickers to earn bottom club Brampton Rovers a very good point.
Tibshelf Town went second in the second division after beating Laburnum 4-3.
S and P Gerrard were both scorers for Town as was Armstrong who scored twice.
Elton’s 1-1 draw at New Whitt, Hannaby for New Whitt, Marseden for Elton, sees them slip to third.
The team to catch however are Eckington Boys whose 5-0 win at Hady means they remain a point clear at the top. Knowles scored twice for Eckington, Hutchinson and Siddall once, with the fifth coming from Price who scored through his own goal.
Bottom club Inky were in fine form thrashing mid table Dronfield Town 8-1.
Lokomotive Athletic were also winners, beating Clowne Wanderers 4-2 as were Hollingwood who beat Bolsover Old Boys 2-0.
AFC Brampton remain on course to lift the division three title at the end of the season following a 3-0 win over Killamarsh Juniors Athletic.
Richard Milner, Wayne Bexton and Chris Graham scored the goals that see Brampton stay seven points clear of second-placed Brampton Anchor who also won. Their success came at Ark Tavern where goals from Steve Burrell, Dale Wake, Richard Lilley and an own goal secured a 4-1 victory.
One-time favourites Wingerworth Barley Mow’s slump in form continued with a 3-2 reverse against Oxcroft for whom M Bailey, R Sharmer and D Ward scored.
Creswell Rose and Crown moved off the bottom of the division with a good 2-1 win over Talbot, Paul Turner and Scott Searston with the goals. Brickmakers were also winners, this time over Grouse Old Boys, Jones, Beech and Taylor on target in a 3-0 win.
In division four second-placed Three Horse Shoes moved a point nearer leaders Rowthorne Lane after picking up a point in a 2-2 draw at Pilsley MW, G Hibbert and P Hough scoring for Pilsley, M Vine and R Varley for Horse Shoes.
Fletcher hit four goals in Harleys 8-1 romp at Midland Hotel while Steve Jones scored a hat-trick in North Stars 6-2 victory over Clowne Wanderers Reserves.
Hasland Wanderers beat Crown Inn Killamarsh thanks to goals from S Tingay and J Fox while Chesterfield Town edged an 11-goal thriller with Royal Oak Brampton 6-5.
Scarlets Nightscene were strolling to a comfortable victory over Red Lion in five after Brough, Jennings and Harding had put them 3-0 ahead, however Lion responded in great fashion as goals from Lunn, Brear, Linacre and Robley turned the game on its head.
Leaders Highfield met bottom side Riverside Utd and had to work hard to record a 4-2 victory over a spirited Riverside, Danny Keenan scoring twice for Highfield.
Charlies Bar just shaded their game against Black Swan, Green and Large scoring in a 2-1 win, however Poolsbrook’s victory over Chesterfield Phoenix was a much more emphatic one as Nathan Linacre, Gareth Bally and Jack Bexton all registered doubles in a 7-0 win. Devonshire’s L McGuiness went one better, scoring a fine hat-trick in his side’s 3-0 win over Barrow Hill.
The top two in six, leaders Dronfield Woodhouse and second-placed New Inn Newton clashed and exchanged places after New Inn won the game 3-0. An own goal plus one each from G Wilkinson and J Webster secured the points for the new leaders.
Bull and Badgers 5-1 win inspired by a Gavin Page hat-trick, over Cock and Magpie saw these two sides also change places in the standings. The winners other goals came from Richard Mason and Simon Whitehouse.
A close game at Brimington Club was won by visitors Hasland Community. Goals from Mick Bailey and Kyle Bigg for Club were cancelled out by Ben Meggesy, Shaun Collins and Joe Stevens.
Barlow Kingston Rovers played superbly to beat Gate Inn North Wingfield 5-1.
Renishaw MW won for the 15th time in the league to consolidate their position at the top of seven. J Pleweki, twice, A Blakemore and S Williams scored in win number 15 which came against Dronfield Miners. Second-placed Britannia also won, this time by six goals to two against Brampton Rovers Reserves, L Wright scoring three in the win.
Like the previous two, third-placed Holmebrook Tavern also won, a single goal proving to be enough to beat Spread Eagle.
