Fifth promotion for Spire stars

Spire Rangers U14s beat Wickersley Youth 2-1 to gain their fifth consecutive promotion.

Brimwood United U10s lost 1-0 against Shirebrook Reds. Man of the match was Jake Joyce

Brimwood U13s saw off Skegby Colts Black 3-2. Marksmen were Dylon Holmes, Cory Burton and an own goal.

Brimwood U14s lost 5-4 against Eckington, the winner being scored in the third minute of injury time. Scorers were Oliver Thomas 3, and Jake Levers. Match awards went to Oliver Thomas, Joseph Hoult and Blake Bedford.

Brimwood U15s were defeated 6-1 by Creswell. The consolation effort came from Ben Hall while the match award went to Jamie Ross

Somersall Rangers U11s maintained their 100 per cent league run with a 10-0 victory over Blyth Bombers. Man of the was Louis Rouse.

Sam Barlow led the way with four goals while others came from Billy Whitehead 3, Louis Rouse, Patryk Goral and Jordan Wells.

Chesterfield Junior Blues U9 were knocked out of the quarter-final of the cup by Leabrooks 2-0 in a poor performance by the Blues.

Junior Blues U10s put in an impressive performance to beat FC Interski 4-1. Scorers were Eddie Finney and a superb hat-trick by Harry Dudley. Man of the match was Josh Lucas.

Brampton Rovers U10s maintained their challenge for the league title with a 2-0 win over Beighton Magpies. Matthew Francis and Jack Roddis claimed the goals with man of the match awards going to Buster Newsam and Josh Smith.

Brampton U11s drew 1-1 with Aston Swallownest. Michel Bargh was the scorer with Riven Knight man of the Match.

Brampton U12 Rowsley had a 2-0 win over Ashover. Scorers were Jacob Benson and man of the match Chris Allen.

League leaders Rovers U13s gave one of their best performances of the season. With a number of key players missing and Sam Bradbury stepping in for the injured regular keeper they won 3-2 away at third-placed Chapeltown Juniors. Scorers were Josh Adams 2 and Rhys Mullins.

Brampton U15s lost a hard -fought game 2 -1 to Dodworth MW. Shane Catherall scored for Rovers with match awards going to Joe Poulton and Josef Schroeter.

Brampton U16s and Hallam Rangers shared the goals and points in an entertaining 3-3 draw.

Chesterfield Town U15s lost 6-0 at Alfreton. Man of the match was Joe Robotham.

Town U13 girls claimed top spot thanks to a 4-1 win over Wirksworth Utd. Goals came from Abbie Barlow, Leigh Worsdale 2, and Stacey Robinson (pen). Player of the match was Emilie Stevenson.

Town U13s Sheffield lost 4-1 at Millmoor Juniors. Curtis McLeish scored the consolation with Toby Curtis and Connor McQuade winning match awards.

Town U13s Rowsley lost 2-1 against Oxcroft United. Josh Neale scored the goal and Josh Shipp was man of the match.

More than 100 spectators watched the derby showdown between Brampton Rovers U12s and Chesterfield Town U12s which Town edged 2-1. Danny Jagger gave Town the lead when he slotted home an Elliott Barker pass. A long-range effort saw Brampton make it 1-1 before the break. Town captured the lead and secured the victory with a headed goal from Jake Lees.

Town U11s lost 4-5 against Hoyland Common Falcons. Scorers were Zac Cantrill, Josh Ward and Josh Graham 2.

Town defeated Market Warsop 3-2 Scorers were Joe Clarke 2 and Chad Martin.

Town U10s defeated Bagthorpe Athletic 1-0 thanks to a Luke Rawson strike.

Town U9s defeated Wickersley Youth 4-3. Scorers were Ryan Mills, Elliot Allsop, Luke Waller and Joe Millward.

Town U9s beat Manor FC Reds 3-1. Marksmen were Rio Topham, Luke Waller and man of the match Sam Goodban.

Town U9s slipped up 1-0 against ADASC in the quarter final of the cup. The goal came with just six sexonds remaining. Man of the match was goalkeeper Ethan Aggutter.
