East Midlands Sport at Reds showdown


ALFRETON Town have their first Blue Square Bet Premier Division home game on Tuesday evening when Southport are the visitors to the Impact Arena. Kick-off is 7.45pm.

The club will be welcoming Mark Shardlow from East Midlands Sport.

Prior to the game, he will be conducting interviews with manager Nicky Law, players and supporters as well.

Fans are advised to arrive early for the game if they wish to be considered for doing a pre-match interview!

Manager Law will have the services of goalkeeper Ross Turner to call upon as he served a one-match suspension in the opening game on Saturday.

Injured pair Leigh Franks and Anthony Wilson are both still unavailable.

Southport arrive after picking up a point in a 2-2 home draw with relegated Lincoln City on Saturday.
