Kyle Ryde, the newly- crowned British 125cc Motorcycle Road Racing Champion, has been in action in Spain.

Kyle has been taking part in the last two rounds of the Spanish CEV Buckler 125cc series at Valencia and Jerez.

Around 15,000 fans attended the Valencia Circuit for the penultimate round of the 2011 Spanish National Championship.

Kyle, from Jacksdale, qualified eighth in his group and 15th overall on his RS Racing Honda and rode to a credible 12th place finish.

Kyle and his father Sean travelled south to the Jerez circuit for the last round of the Spanish championship.

Kyle qualified in 20th place but was tenth fastest in the early morning warm-up.

He cut his way through the field and eventually crossed the line in sixth spot.

There will be a fund raising-event taking place at the Jacksdale Welfare Club at 7pm on Friday, December 9, in order to try and raise enough money to keep Kyle racing next year. All are welcome.
