McCallum comes up trumps for Killamarsh Arrows

Cameron McCallum produced a match winning performance as Killamarsh Arrows overcame Ipswich Basketball in the Patrons Cup.

McCallum led the scoring with 27 points followed by Standerfer (22) and Lisk-Carew (15) as the Arrows won 90-78 on Saturday.

The two sides split the quarter battles, winning two a piece, but Arrows’ strength at the start and finish saw them home to what looked like a comfortable win, but proved anything but.

A 14-point lead established in the first quarter (29-15) over the visitors to the Killamarsh Sports Centre was turned around by the end of the third.

But a substantial improvement in the fourth quarter (34-19) saw Arrows dominate to reclaim the lead and finish victorious.
