Cup still has magic for Arrows, despite exit

The Linbraze Arrows bowed out of the National Cup against the top-ranked side in the National League, Manchester Magic of NBL 1, who went into the game as overwhelming favourites against the young Arrows of NBL 2

The Arrows were competitive throughout, despite going down 96-66 .

The Arrows fought well in every quarter, but had small losses in each.

Andreas Lycoudis led the Arrows with 19 points, Joseph Baugh had 13 and Matt Wilson 12.

Lycoudis has been with the Arrows since he was six at St Andrew’s Junior School in Dronfied.

Now 21, his success has shown the success of the Arrows’ development system together with Aidan Dennison, 19, in his second full season at this level.
