Carl Hopkinson was Ripley Running Club’s sole representative at the hilly Windermere Marathon through the Cumbrian Hills.
He was understandably pleased as he crossed the finish line in a near personal best time of three hours, 53 minutes and 34 seconds.
While Tom Briggs took on the White Peak Half Marathon through the Derwent Valley.
Guided by Luke Beresford, Tom managed to finish the 13.1-mile challenge in a superb two hours and 23 minutes.
He managed to raise £720 for The Guide Dogs For The Blind Association for his efforts.
Angela Marie Forte took on the Aston 10k and managed a new personal best of 47 minutes and 12 seconds, which is nuderstood to be a testament to the amount of training she has been doing recently.
