Adrian Hancock has been celebrating after landing two monster fish in one day.
The international angler, from Chesterfield, hooked the giant Mekong catfish in Thailand, where he has a home.
He pulled the leviathans out of the Bungsanran fishing lake which is sited near the country’s capital of Bangkok.
The first one - pictured above - took Adrian an exhausting 90 minutes to bring out of the water.
And it tipped the scales at around 165lbs while the second weighed in at 130lbs.
A delighted Adrian said: “It has taken me five years of fishing at Bungsanran to catch a fish which weighed more than 150 pounds and then I landed two monsters in the same day. I was over the moon.’’
Adrian used a mix of rice husk for bait to lure the fish - which Adrian returned to the water - on to the hook.
For those who interested in the technical details, Adrian tackled up with Shimano 6500 reels loaded with 26kg teclon gold mono and used Shimano Beastmaster rods.
