I read in the Derbyshire Times about a man getting run down and someone said it was because of leaves. Why does that surprise anyone?
You can see lots of trees and bushes overhanging on the road. Example, he road of the back of the Queen’s Park is a foot deep in leaves making it impossible to walk or even ride a mobility scooter.
Why can’t the trees and bushes be cut back in summer? People can use the wood for woodburners and the rest for garden mulch. The price for wood and mulch is high so I would think it’s well worth the while. Will the council take note? We will have to see.
