YOUNG apprentices were given the challenge of coming up with a new logo and strapline for a Chesterfield-based training company.
Two teams of hard-working apprentices from NLT Training were given the task as part of National Apprenticeship Week last month.
The winning team, called Live Wires, consisting of Jordan Bates, Tom Stockton, Nathan Breaze and Jake Harvey, impressed the judges with their eye-catching logo and memorable slogan.
Runners-up Shane Bond, Thiery Mpenya and Billy Dodd were praised for their strapline.
One of the judges, Nicki Slack, of Remploy, said both teams worked hard in the task.
She added: “It was very difficult to pick a winner – both teams should be proud of themselves.”
