Crooked Spire, Chesterfield's landmark restored to its former glory

1. You go out of your way to tell/show every friend/family members/stranger/ about the Crooked Spire. Even when you have absolutely no idea why it’s twisted and leaning. In fact, you end up telling a different story every time you tell someone new.

2. You have every intention of going for a run around Queen’s Park - but never actually do. Instead, you end up in Frankie and Benny’s.

3. You criticise the town at every possible opportunity but as soon as someone from outside Chesterfield starts having a go, you go all out attack and defend it with your life.

4. You’ve seen the Chesterfield Information Centre but you’re not quite sure whether anyone has actually ever been inside.

5. You ‘like’ Chesterfield FC but you don’t really support them as much as you should unless they are winning.

6. You go on a night out in Chesterfield because it’s a ‘different’ scene to Sheffield.

7. You have a blazing row with your best pal at least once a month about whether it’s a ‘cob’, ‘bread cake’ or ‘bread roll’.

8. You hear the ‘beeps’ of the horns and the bad language coming from the Horns Bridge Roundabout from the other side of town.

9. You appreciate the market and always praise the traders but you’ve never actually bought anything.

10. You always say ‘there’s a lot of famous people that come from Chesterfield’ but struggle to name three.
