You can take a magical trip along Chesterfield Canal with Santa this Christmas

Families will be able to take a trip along Chesterfield Canal with Santa on board this Christmas.

Chesterfield Canal Trust's tripboat, John Varley, will be doing Santa Special trips from Tapton Lock on every Saturday and Sunday from Saturday, November 24, to Sunday, December 23, and on Wednesday, December 19, Thursday, December 20, and Friday, December 21.

The John Varley will leave at 10am, 10.40am, 11.20am, noon, 1pm, 1.40pm, 2.20pm and 3pm.

The trust's tripboat, Madeline, will also be running Santa Special trips from Hollingwood Hub on every Saturday and Sunday from Saturday, December 1, to Sunday, December 23.

The Madeline will leave at 10.30am, 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm.

Tickets cost Â£7 per person and all children will receive a gift and adults will be offered a drink and a mince pie.
