Woman’s body found in Alport
An inquest has been opened after a 47-year-old Dales woman was found dead on the floor of a barn.
Rebecca Swindell’s body was discovered on the afternoon of Friday, April 26, in a barn at Alport, near Youlgrave. A post mortem examination was carried out on April 30, but a cause of death is yet to be established. Police are not treating the death as suspicious
