Woman taken to hospital in '˜critical' condition after crash
A woman was taken to hospital in a critical condition this morning following a crash in a north east Derbyshire village.
Police, firefighters, paramedics and air ambulance all attended Snowdon Lane at Troway following a collision between a Renault Clio and a BMW at about 9.20am on Monday.
Derbyshire police closed the road off while the incident was ongoing.
The woman was taken to Northern General Hospital in Sheffield in a critical condition but is now stable.
The woman and another person had to be cut free from one of the vehicles by firefighters.
