Woman injured in traffic collision this morning

Firefighters from Clowne and Staveley were called to the incident on Shawlands Mews.

A Derbyshire police spokesman said a white Fortwo Passion car collided with a stationary vehicle.

The woman driver of the car was taken to hospital suffering from facial injuries.

Derbyshire Fire Services tweeted:

11:12 #Staveley_RED #Clowne_RDS attended a RTC on Shawland Mews, Clowne. Incident involved 2 vehicles, crews assisted @EMASNHSTrust with 1 female casualty and made the scene safe.
