Woman arrested over suspected drugs offences in Derbyshire village

At about 8.20pm on Tuesday, officers were carrying out patrols when they stopped a vehicle travelling along Chapel Lane in Middleton.

Following a search, a quantity of suspected class B drugs were found to be in the driver’s possession.

A 22-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply and has since been bailed pending further police inquiries.
