Police are still investigating the circumstances around his death and are trying to trace other people in connection with the inquiry.

A body of a man in his 20s was discovered last night (Wednesday) at nearby Birchwood Crescent, but Derbyshire police have made it cleared his death is not suspicious and is no way connected to Mr Broadbent’s death. A file is being prepared for the coroner.

Superintendent Jim Allen said: “I would like to reassure the public of Grangewood that we are working hard to establish the full circumstances of Mr Broadbent’s death and this inquiry continues at a pace.

“Nothing about his death leads me to believe that other members of the public are at risk.”
