Wirksworth: Inquest of ‘hero’ dad is opened
An inquest opening into the death of a father–of–three has been held.
Derby and South Derbyshire Coroner’s Court held the inquest opening into the death of Kevin O’Connell, of Slater, Crescent, Wirksworth.
The 33–year–old died in after being hit by a car on Burton Road, Derby, on Saturday, October 25. He was trying to break–up an argument between two other people when the accident happened.
A provisional post mortem examination has given the cause of death as being head injuries.
The inquest was adjourned for a review due to take place on January 5.
