Wirksworth firefighters rescue three road crash casualties at Elton
Three casualties had to be freed from the wreckage of a crash involving two cars.
The collision happened on the A5012 road at the junction of Moor Lane and new Haven Lane, at Elton, near Matlock, about 9.25pm, on Saturday, December 5.
A Derbyshire fire service spokesman said: “The incident involved two saloon cars and three casualties had to be freed.”
Wirksworth firefighters were called out to the incident with police and the ambulance service.
Firefighters made the area safe by 10.30pm.
