CHESTERFIELD’S Auto Windscreens has celebrated its first birthday since its acquisition by the Markerstudy Group.

The windscreen replacement company, on Storforth Lane, has won seven contracts from the insurance and fleet industries including Admiral, Hastings Direct and Pendragon Contracts and its call centre has been crowned second in the UK at the Top 50 Call Centres for Customer Service.

It was also named Best Newcomer and Best Service Provider at the same awards.

Managing Director Nigel Davies said: “The insurance and fleet industries and members of the public have responded positively to our excellent service.”

Auto Windscreens was taken over by the Markerstudy Group in February, last year, after it went into administration.

The company said its success has been down to customer satisfaction and its team’s ability to meet the rising demand for its services.
