Which political bigwigs will be on the Question Time panel in Chesterfield?

Question Time producers have revealed three panel members for the Chesterfield show.

Conservative MP and chief secretary to the treasury Liz Truss, Labour's shadow home secretary Diane Abbott and Liberal Democrats' leader Vince Cable will take questions from members of the public when the BBC's flagship political programme comes to the town for the first time on Thursday, April 19.

It will be filmed at the historic Winding Wheel and air on BBC1 at 10.45pm on the same day.

The show's other panelists are yet to be confirmed.

David Dimbleby, who has presented the programme since 1994, said: "I am very much looking forward to bringing Question Time to Chesterfield for the first time.

"What really matters is that we have a lively audience who want to speak their mind.
