Wheelie big-hearted staff use pedal power to boost two worthy causes

Big-hearted staff at a Chesterfield-based cycle shop have stepped into use pedal power to support two very worthy charities.

JE James Cycles, on Brimington Road North, at Whittington Moor roundabout, at Chesterfield, has donated a Marin Bolinas Ridge mountain bike as a main prize for the Chesterfield Mayor’s annual fundraising event.

The bike will be the main prize in a raffle for the Mayor’s Charity which pulls in donations and funds for good causes which will be presented at the end of the tenure of the current Mayor, Chesterfield Borough Councillor Stuart Brittain.

Raffle tickets will be sold at various events during the year to raise funds for the Mayor’s chosen charities including Ashgate Hospicecare’s sponsor-a-nurse fundraiser and for the Chesterfield Citizens Advice Bureau.
