WEATHER WARNING: Strong winds forecast for Derbyshire
The yellow alert came into force for the whole of the East Midlands at 11am today (Saturday) and will remain in place until midnight.
A warning of possible travel disruption has also been issued.

Hide AdA spokesman for the Met Office said: “Southerly gales will develop today as an active frontal system moves across the area from the west.
“Gusts of 40-50mph are likely quite widely inland with gusts of around 60-65mph affecting English Channel coasts at times.”
Winds are expected to steadily decrease from the west this evening.
