Lockdown heatwave comes to an end in Derbyshire today as we brace for a weekend of rain

According to the Met Office it will be dry with clear spells overnight, with some heavy showers developing on Sunday.

We will have a dry night across the region with some good clear spells, and with a few mist or fog patches developing. It will become more cloudy in the west by morning. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Sunday will see some bright or sunny intervals, but becoming increasingly cloudy from the west. The odd shower will develop by the afternoon, but these will become more widespread and locally heavy later. Maximum temperature 19 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Cooler than of late, and increasingly unsettled. Sunny spells and the odd shower expected Monday and Tuesday, perhaps with some more general rain later on Tuesday. Further rain or showers on Wednesday.
