Derbyshire County Council closes road due to flood risk

‘Very high’ water levels on the River Derwent has forced the closure of the bridge at Darley Bridge, with motorists urged not to drive or walk through flood water.
A flood warning has also been issued for the River Wye at Wye Bank and Milford, as well as at Ashford in the Water.
The A6 in Buxton outside the former Devonshire Arms pub has also closed.
