WEATHER: Fine weekend in Derbyshire

According to the Met Office clouds and rain will edge away by late morning into a fine and dry afternoon with good spells of sunshine.

Following previous threats of a miserable weekend, expect light winds, and a fairly pleasant day with maximum temperatures of 19 degrees centigrade.

Then a chilly night to come for the middle of August, with temperatures dropping away into single figures, but a clear night with light winds and perhaps some mist forming.

There will be a chilly start to tomorrow but another fine day with long spells of sunshine.
