Volunteers tidy up the national park

National park rangers joined forces with volunteers, schools and community groups for a Big Tidy Up.

The Peak District ranger service is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, a date it shares with the Keep Britain Tidy Group, and the two organisations linked up to mark the occasion by clearing as much litter as possible.

Teams managed to pick up 22 bags of litter in the Longdendale and Holme Moss areas and Owler Bar area.
