Steven O’Riordan went missing from Whaley Bridge on May 30, 2011.

Steven, who was 28 at the time, was last seen by his mother Helen at 5.30pm that day when she drove him back to his Old Road home after they had spent the day together.

He was reported missing a few days later.

Unusually, there have been no sightings of Steven since, and his family are still desperately searching for answers as to what happened to him.

Inspector Coey said: “Steven wasn’t in any trouble, there was no reason at all for him to go missing.

“He had no enemies, and we think it is likely he may have met with some misadventure somewhere.

“He lived alone and was very much in a routine. I’d appeal to anyone in Whaley Bridge who might have seen Steven at any point after 5.30pm on May 30.

“Even if he was seen a hundred yards from his house it gives us a new line of enquiry to pursue. Any bit of information will be another piece of the jigsaw. We’ve spent hundreds of hours trying to find him but we’re no further forward so any help would be appreciated.”

Gary Bryan went missing from a friend’s house at Hollow on the Moor, Taddington, on April 27, 2010.

Police carried out extensive searches, including one involving a specialist team on farmland near Taddington, but to no avail.

Having spent April 27 in Buxton, Mr Bryan, who was 38 at the time, returned to his friend’s house, but at around 7pm, left the property via a back door, wearing only khaki shorts and a t-shirt.

He was believed to have been heading in the direction of the Waterloo pub on the A6 but since then, there have been no sightings of him, although mobile phone records indicate his phone was in use for the next 24 hours.

Inspector Coey said: “We know Gary liked staying outdoors and was very transient.

“He had a flat in Derby but had only recently got that and was from the Buxton area so people would probably know him.

“He had nothing with him and no financial means of support.”

Tim Beardsley was last seen on July 9, 2012.

The 46-year-old, of Station New Road, Old Tupton, was last seen wearing a pale blue and maroon striped sweatshirt. He is white, 5ft 10in with short, brown hair and blue eyes. In July 2014, police said they had received several possible sightings of Mr Beardsley both in the UK and abroad, and believed he may have been spotted in Malaga. But he has still not been found.

Mr Beardsley’s car was found near Ullswater in the Lake District five days after he was reported missing by his wife Terrie.

Thirty-year-old Ricky Hill has not been since September 23, 2014, at 9.30am when he was last seen on CCTV footage leaving the Royal Derby Hospital via the Uttoxeter Road entrance.

His father Steven has since made an emotional plea to his son to let him know that he’s safe, and friends and family have spent the months since his disappearance doing everything they can to try and track him down.

But so far, Ricky has not yet been found.
