SPIREITE fans are in the spirit as they arrive at Wembley stadium for the much anticipated cup match.
Thousands of fans have descended on the capital for the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy final against Swindon.
Mick Bamford, from Brockwell, said: “I’m a bit nervous with them (Swindon) being top of the league but hopefully with Jack Lester we will sneak it.”
Adrian Dykes from Bolsover added: “It will be a tight game but it’s a cup match and anything can happen.”
Andy Cooper from Walton said he believes the pitch will suit the Spireites, and his friend John Harrison from Tupton said: “Town have been trained well but not getting results. This could kick start out season.”
Little Josh Parker, 9, from Temple Normanton, said: “Chesterfield will win 2-1 with Jack Lester and Jordan Bowery to score.”
Daniel Harper, 14, from Newbold agreed with Josh’s prediction.
