UPDATE: Police at scene of dog attack involving a child in Chesterfield
Police are currently at the scene of a dog attack involving a child in Chesterfield.
The incident took place on Rutland Road, off the West Bars roundabout, in the town shortly after noon today.
A Derbyshire Police spokesperson said they were called to reports of a young child having been bitten by a dog.
The child has since been taken to hospital, and the dog has been seized.
