UPDATE: Latest on travellers at Chesterfield park

Travellers who set up camp at a Chesterfield park for almost a week have finally left the site.

Travellers in Queen's Park, Chesterfield

They moved onto the car park at Queen’s Park on Wednesday, March 14 and had been issued with a summons to leave the site on Tuesday.

The group - which arrived in six caravans and several cars with French registration plates - was still in the car park earlier today but had left by this afternoon.

Bags of rubbish - including carpet - have been left at the site.
