Two rubbish fires put out in Buxton
Buxton fire crews tackled two rubbish fires in the town over the weekend.
On Friday at 2.30pm, firefighters were called to a bin on fire outside on Bailey Grove, in Fairfield.
The fumes had activated the property’s smoke alarm, alerting the occupants.
On Saturday at 8.37pm, crews were called to extinguish a small quantity of rubbish, which was alight on Hogshaw Villas Road.
