Two people rescued in Cromford house fire
Two people had to be led to safety following a house fire in the middle of the night.
Crews from Matlock and Wirksworth attended a house fire at a three-storey building in Market Place, Cromford at 1am this morning (Monday, March 16).
They used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
One crew stayed behind to ventilate the property and left at 3.24pm.
