Two men taken to hospital after serious crash on busy Derbyshire road

Two men have been taken to hospital following a serious crash on a busy Derbyshire road this morning.

The accident happened on the A5102 at Pikehall just after 6am on Friday (August 6).

Pictures from the scene show the damage caused to both vehicles after the crash, which has left one man in a serious condition.

The road was closed for several hours while emergency services were in attendance but has now reopened.
