Two men killed in Derbyshire motorbike crash

Police are appealing for witnesses after a rider and pillion passenger were killed when the motorbike they were riding crashed.

Just before 11.35pm yesterday, the motorbike travelling from Matlock towards Chesterfield on the A632 Amber Lane stretch at Kelstedge collided with a wall.

The 23-year-old rider and his 22-year-old passenger, of Chesterfield, were thrown from the blue Honda motorbike and suffered fatal injuries. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

The families of both men have been informed.

The road was closed for several hours as police carried out investigations.
